غنڈہ گردی اور صحافت تقویم احسن صدیقی چلیۓ صاب آج محترم جناب عطاالحق قاسمی صاحب نی اعتراف جرم کر ہی لیا. اپنی طرف سے جس "راز" کا انکشاف انہو نے آج اپنی تحریر میں کیا، وہ تو قوم پر کیی سالوں سے منکشف تھا. اور وہ تھا محترم کی تحریک انصاف سے بے پناہ نفرت، جو کے پچھلے کیی سالوں سے ان کی تمام تحریروں میں صاف عیاں تھی. صحافتی آداب کی دھجیاں "تنقید" کے پردے میں کہاں کہاں اور کس کس طرح اڑایں گیئں یہ جانچنے کے لئے دیدہ ور کے لیے آپ کی تحریریں ہی کافی ہیں. ایک ناقد اور صحافی ہونے کے ناتے یہ طے ہے کے جب بھی آپ اپنا نقطہ نذر دنیا کے سامنے پیش کرنگے آپ کو تعریف اور تنقید دونو برداشت کرنی پرینگی. جب دل کی بات لوگو کے نقطہ نذر پر اثر انداز ہونے کی غرض سے لکھی جائے گی تو یقینن اس کے حق میں اور خلاف بھی باتیں کہی جاینگی، اور بطور ناظر میرا پورا حق ہے کے آپ کی لکھی ہوئی بات سے اختلاف کر سکون. اب ہر کسی کا اختلاف کا طریقہ مختلف ہو سکتا ہے جو ظاہر ہے اس کی سوچ کا اور بیک گراونڈ کا عکس بھی پیش کرتا ہے. ایک سینئر صحافی کا ان چیزوں سے واسطہ روز ہی پڑتا ہے. آج کل چند "مظلوم" لکھاری ایک عجیب و غریب قسم کی مہم مینجتے نذر آتے ہیں. یہ وہی لکھاری ہیں جو پچھلے کیی سالوں سے عمران خان کی کردار کشی سے لے کر بے مغز اور بے مقصد قسم کی تنقید میں دن رات ایک کئے ہوے تھے. ایسا تو ممکن نہیں کے بطور سیاست دان خان کا ہر قدم غلط ہو. مگر یہ کہنا مشق عادی تنقیدیے ہر موقے پر شہد میں کھٹاس ڈھونتے نذر آے. یہیں پر بس نہیں ، جس انداز میں عالم پناہ کی تعریف و توصیف کی جاتی ہے وہ اکثر و بیشتر شرمندگی کی حد تک چاپلوسی اور دروغ گوئی کی مثال ہوتی ہے . عطا صاحب اپنے "محبوب" قاید سے محبّت کرنا کوئی جرم نہیں مگر اگر آپ یہ محبّت غیر جانبداری کے پردے میں چھپ کر کرنا چاہیںگے تو معاف کیجیح یہ اسسی یا نووے کی دہائی نہیں جہاں سرکاری میڈیا پر آپ اور آپ جسے کئی لوگو نی میاں صاحب کی درباری خدمت کے فرائض بخوبی انجام دے اور قوم کی آنکھ میں کامیابی سے دھول جھونکا. آج کا آزاد میڈیا سرکاری ٹی وی نہیں ہے جہاں آپ کی ہر غلط اور گمراہ کن بات کو صرف اس لیے خاموشی سے قبول کر لیا جائے کیوں کے وہ "آپ" کہ رہے ہیں. یہ درست ہے کے کسی بھی لحاظ سے نازیبا الفاظ قابل قبول نہیں مگر میرا سوال یہ ہے کے کیا عطاالحق صاحب اور ان جیسے لوگ صحافتی دنیا میں اکیلے ہیں جن کو ان معاملات کا سامنا ہے؟ عطاالحق صاحب آپ اور آپ جیسے دوسرے عوام کی آنکھ میں دھول جھونکتے ہیں، کیوں کے آپ کی زبان پر تو غیر جانبداری کا چاپ ہوتا ہے ہے مگر آپ کی تحریریں چلّا چلّا کر آپ کی جانبداری کا ثبوت دیتی ہیں. اگر اپ علال اعلان یہ فرما دیں کے آپ میاں صاحب کے پرانے نمک خوار ہیں اور "ان کے آدمی" ہیں تو کوئی بھی آپ کی تحریروں پر ویسے تنقید نہیں کرے گا.ہارون الرشید صاحب کی مثال سامنے ہے، وہ ببانگ دھل اس بات کا اقرار کرتے ہیں کے ان کی ہمدردیاں عمران خان کے ساتھ ہیں. لہٰذا ان کی تحریریں پڑھنے والے کو معلوم ہوتا ہے کے وہ ایک ایسے شخص کی تحریر پڑھ رہا ہے جو عمران خان کا حامی ہے. آپ اور آپ جسے لوگ دھوکہ دیتے ہیں اور پردے میں رہ کر اپنے اجنڈے کی تکمیل کرنا چاہتے ہیں. آپ نی جو "بچکانہ" تحریر مورخہ گیارہ اکتوبر کے جنگ میں لکھی ہے وہ آپ کی سطحی سوچ کی عکاس ہے. معاف کیجیح گا ایک جانبدار آدمی کے قلم سے لکھی ہوئی یہ تحریر کسی صورت بھی قابل ا اعتبار نہیں . اس کے علاوہ کیا آپ اور آپ کے ہمنوا اکیلے ہیں جن کو یہ سب برداشت کرنا پڑتا ہے؟ پوچیح ہارون الرشید سے، یا ارشاد عارف سے، ان کو کیا کیا سننے کو ملتا ہے، خطوط اور سوشل میڈیا دونو پر. مگر کبھی انہیں اس "نان اشو" پر صفحے کالے کرتے دیکھا؟ ہو سکتا ہے اس کی ایک وجہ یہ بھی ہو کے عمران خان کے مخالفین کے پاس اب مزید کوئی بات نہیں بچی. آپ، آپ کے جیسوں، اور آپ کے آقا عالم پناہ پچھلے دس سالوں میں خان کی نجی زندگی سے لے کر سیاسی زندگی تک ، ہر جگہ کھود چکے اور الله کے کرم سے ہر جگہ آپ کو منہ کی کھانی پڑی، جلد یا بدیر. چاہے وہ عمران کی ازدواجی زندگی ہو یا شوکت خانم ہسپتال کو لے کر گھٹیا اور مکروہ کوشش، کوئی دروازہ آپ اور آپ جیسوں نی چھوڑا ہے؟ آج تک خان یا اس کے کسی مدح نے آپ اور آپ کے آقاؤں کی ذاتیات پر حملہ نہیں کیا. ورنہ میاں صاحبان کی شرعی اور غیر شرعی حرکات کی لسٹ کچھ کم نہ تھی. اگر تحریک انصاف کے جواں چاہتے تو کرسٹین بکر کی کتاب کے چند اقتباسات ہی کافی تھے. عطاالحق صاحب، آج کی اس مذموم صحافی گردی پراترنے سے پہلے اپنے سینیر ہونے کا ہی خیال کر لیہ ہوتا. مگر یاد رکھیے کے آپ چاہے جتنا زور لگا لیں، دربار عالیہ کتنے ہی حربے استمال کر لے، آپ کی یہ "صحافی گردی" جسے عام الفاظ میں "زرد صحافت " کہا جاتا ہے اور نیی اصطلاح میں "درباری صحافت" کہا جاتا ہے، یہ ہتھکنڈے سواے آپ اور آپ کے مالکان کو اکسپوز کرنے کے کوئی فائدہ نہیں دینے والے. اگر آپ اتنے ہی پارسا اور صاف نیت ہیں تو ان جایز سوالوں کا جواب کیوں نہیں دیتے جو اب تقریبن پورا پاکستان آپ کی صحافت اور تحریروں پر اٹھا رہا ہے؟ آپ نی "با آسانی" ان چند خطوط اور سوشل میڈیا کے پیغامات کا انتخاب کر کر کے، جن کے سہی یا غلط ہونے کا اعتبار بھی نہیں، خود کو مظلوم ثابت کرنے کی ناکام کوشش کی ہے. اور اس گھٹیا کوشش میں آرام سے دیکھا جا سکتا ہے کے کل تک جن لوگوں کو آپ قاتل اور دہشت گرد کہا کرتے تھے، ان کی ہمدردیاں سمیٹنے کے لیے ان کی شرافت کے پل باندھ دیہ. مگر عطاالحق صاحب، وہ وقت بھول گئے جب صلاح الدین اور آپ دھمکیاں ملنے پر صفحے کے صفحے کالے کیا کرتے تھے؟ یا تو وہ جھوٹ تھا یا جو کچھ آپ نی آج لکھا وہ جھوٹ ہے.پیپلز پارٹی کے جیالے آپ کا کیا حشر کرتے تھے یا کرتے ہیں اس کی مثالیں ہمیں اچھے طرح یاد ہیں اور اکثر سوشل میڈیا پر دیکھنے کو مل جاتی ہیں. ایک جماعت کے محظ پرستارو کی بات پر چراغ پا ہو گئے. یہاں تک کے ہمدردیاں سمیٹنے کے لئے دوسری جماعتوں کا سہارا لیتے ہوے یہ بھول گئے کے ان جماعتوں کے "قائدین" نی لایو ٹی وی پر مشاہد اللہ ، چودھری نثار اور آپ کے زل الہی میاں برادران کے لیے کیا الفاظ استمال کیۓ تھے؟ گنجا اور "الو کا پٹھا" کے الفاظ کروڑوں عوام نی لایو سنے تھے جو اب بھی سوشل میڈیا کی زینت بنتے رہتے ہیں. ذرا تحریک انصاف کے بخار اور عالم پناہ کی مدح سرآیی سے باہر نکل کے دوسری جماعتوں کے قائدین سے دو دو ہاتھ کر کے دیکھیے، مفرور نہ ہونا پڑے تو کہیے گا. شیریں مزاری صاحبہ کے بارے میں لکھنے سے پہلے پوچھ تو لیہ ہوتا ان سے؟ شیریں سے اختلاف اپنی جگا مگر ان کی نیّت پر شک کرنے والا کم از کم تحریک انصاف میں کوئی نہیں ہے. باقی جن لگو کے نام آپنی لئے، ان کی اور آپ کی تحریروں میں کوئی فرق نہیں لہٰذا سلوک بھی کچھ ایک جیسا ہی ہے. ہر صورت میں آپ کی سچایی پر سوالیہ نشان اٹھتا ہے. آج تک یہ شکایت سہی مانوں میں "نیوٹرل" صحافیوں کے منہ سے کیو نہیں سنی گی؟ ایک نامور صحافی نے تو حال ہی میں خان صاحب کا بڑا سخت انٹرویو لیا ہے، اور اس کے باوجود ان کو اس انٹرویو پر داد و تحسین ہی ملی ہے جب کے کڑی تنقید کی انہو نے. جس طریقے سے آپ نی کچ عرصہ پہلے چند کالموں میں ناروے اور تھایلنڈ کی سفارت کاری کے معاملے کو بلا وجہ دھونے کی کوشش کی، اب تک سمجھ نہیںآتی کے اس کی ضرورت آپ کو کیوں محسوس ہوئی تھی. کیا یہ حقیقت نہیں ہے کے میاں صاحب کے پہلے اور دوسرے دور میں آپ نے جم کے مزے لیے؟ آپ جتنی صفایاں پیش کر دیں، قوم کی یاد داشت اتنی بھی کمزور نہیں ہے. پلاٹ اور لفافے تو چلیۓ ثابت کرنے کی بات ہے لہٰذا اس بحس میں نہیں پڑینگے مگر جو کچھ سامنے کی بات تھی اس سے انکار کیسے کرنگے آپ؟ اس کے علاوہ میں دعویٰ کرتا ہوں کے پچھلے پانچ سالوں کی تحریروں میں ایک تحریر بھی آپ کی میاں صاحب پر "ٹھوس" تنقید پر مبنی نہیں. یہی نہیں بلکے آپ کی ہر تحریر میں جس طرح مکّاری کے ساتھ میاں برادران کی امیج بلڈنگ کی ناکام کوشش ہوتی ہے وہ اندھا بھی دیکھ سکتا ہے. عجیب ہی ماہرین دیکھے، جو ایک سیاسی پارٹی کو اس کے اجنڈے، پروگرام یا پچھلے رکورڈ کے بجاے، چند ایک بدتمیز سپورٹروں کی بنیاد پر جج کر رہے ہیں. ان میں کچھ واقعی حقیقی ہونگے اور ظاہر ہے الله سے ان کی ہدایت کی دعا ہی کی جا سکتی ہے مگر کون نہیں جانتا کے سوشل میڈیا پر نقلی آئ ڈی بنانا کون سا مشکل کام ہے؟ خطوط کس نی لکھے کہاں سے آے اس کے لیہ ایک جانبدار آدمی کی گواہی کیکتنی حیثیت ہے؟ ویسے بھی یہ شکایات عام آدمی کرتا ہوا اچھا لگتا ہے ، وہ لوگ نہیں جو خود کو سینئر "تجزیہ" نگار کہلوانے کے شوقین ہوتے ہیں. عطا صاحب اس جماعت کے سوا کروڑ ممبر اور کروڑوں سپورٹر ہیں. ہر شخص اپنی ذہنی سطح کے مطابق آپ سے دو دو ہاتھ کرتا ہے. یقینن بدتمیزی انتہائی قبل مزممت ہے. سوشل میڈیا پر کوئی تنگ کرے تو اسے بلاک کر دیں، نہیں آتا تو تحریک انصاف کی سوشل میڈیا ٹیم مدد کو حاضر ہے. خط ردی کی ٹوکری کی زینت بنایے، اور فون کال ٹریس کرنا کوئی مثلا نہیں ہے. براہ راست کوئی تنگ کرتا ہے تو تحریک انصاف کے یہی جوان آپ کی حمایت میں کیسے کھڑے ہونگے یہ آپ بھی دیکھیںگے. اگر کوئی تحریک انصاف کا آفس بیرر ہے تو شکایت رجسٹر کرایے اور اگر عام سپورٹر ہے تو خادم ا علا سے کہیہ کے تھانہ کا نظام ٹھیک کریں تاکے آپ جیسوں کی شکایات درج کی جا سکیں اور موسّر کارروایی ہو سکے یہ شور مچا کر آپ اب کیا ثابت کرنا چاہتے ہیں؟ بہرحال آپ کی آج کی تحریر نی کچھ ثابت کہ ہو یا نہیں، آج سے یہ ضرور پکّا کر دیا ہے کے جن کے دل میں پہلے رتی برابر بھی شک تھا اب وہ آپ کی تحریروں کو ایک جانبدار آدمی کی حیثیت سے ہی پڑھینگے اور نتیجتن آپ کی بلا وجہ کی سیاہ کو سفید کہنے کی ناکام کوشش کو اچھی طرح سمجھ پاینگے. عطاالحق صاحب افسوس کے ساتھ یاد دہانی کرانی پڑے گی کے عزت بنانے میں کیی سال لگتے ہیں ، مگر گرانے میں ایک لمحا کافی ہوتا ہے، آپ تو پھر خوشقسمت ہیں کے آپ کو ان گنت تحریریں اور کیی سال لگے.اگر واقعی آپ نےتحریک انصاف پر تنقید کرنی ہے تو کچھ ٹھوس لایں، ان اوچھے ہتھکنڈو کا بھی وہی حشر ہوگا جو عمران کی ازدواجی زندگی کی بربادی سے لے کر امن مارچ پر بے سرو پا تنقید کا ہوا ہے. اس قوم نی کیی منجن خریدے ہیں ، اب کی بار دکان پر کوئی "سچا" مال بیچیں، یہ پی ٹی وی پر نلکوں اور سڑکوں کی افتتاحی تقریبوں، اور سیلاب زدگان کے ساتھ فوٹو سیشن کروا کر کھوٹے کو کھرا ثابت کرنے کا زمانہ نہیں ہے. یہاں بکتا تو سب ہے مگر یاد رکھیے دکھتا بھی سب ہے. یہ صحافی گردی یہاں نہیں چلے گی.

HOW DISGRACEFUL, SHAMEFUL - SORRY MALALA

When breaking news emerged of gunmen shooting 14 year old child education rights activist Malala Yousafzai and her two school mates in the Swat Valley, millions of people throughout Pakistan and abroad were shocked, condemning the barbaric and cowardly attack on an innocent helpless girl. What was even more shocking was that a spokesman for the extremist militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Ihsanullah Ihsan whilst claiming responsibility for the brutal and cowardly attack is reported to have said that Malala will not be spared if she survived. There has been widespread condemnation from human rights and civil society activists and politicians, including those in the government and the opposition. Strangely, though not surprisingly, none of the religious parties seem to be unduly concerned about what has happened. The traditional religious parties or groups, by their silence or qualified, miserly disapproval, have left the general public in no doubt that they quietly approve of this criminal mind set (disguised in religious ideology). Even the international community took notice and most international news agencies covered the incident. The army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani was compelled to (embarrassingly) acknowledge the Taliban had “failed to grasp that she is not only an individual but an icon of courage”. Schools in Mingora remain closed out of fear and necessity as well as in sympathy and support of innocent Malala. Efforts are now under way to save her life and millions of decent people are praying for her recovery and safety. Her father, a school teacher, has been the rock of support behind Malala since the time she was just 11 years old and the Swat Valley was under Taliban militants until they were finally evacuated by the Pakistan Army in 2009. The Taliban rule had caused havoc and brought terror, destruction and fear to the valley by closing down schools, torturing, humiliating and killing anyone who stood in their way and this brutality had gripped the Swat region for some two years. It was during this time that this courageous girl sensed that fundamental human rights, e.g. right to education and freedom of speech were being violated blatantly and decided to write a diary for the BBC in 2009. She came to the public attention and became an icon of courage by telling Pakistanis and the world how life under Taliban militants was, despite the personal risks of serious harm to her and her family. She became a fearless activist for the education of girls in her region who had been especially targeted by the Taliban. Article 9 of the Constitution of Pakistan states: “No person shall be deprived of life or liberty save in accordance with law”. In fact, Chapter 1 on Fundamental Human Rights provides safeguards against arbitrary arrest and detention and other fundamental rights include freedom of movement, assembly, association, speech and all citizens are equal before law and are entitled to equal protection of law. It is, however, lamentable that the Constitution of Pakistan is being violated so blatantly and that also with regard to the fundamental rights of its citizens, yet the authorities seem to be helpless and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, which is otherwise seemingly quite active on certain political issues or issues of corruption, has failed to do anything about such serious violations of the Constitution. No one has the right to physically harm, take or attempt to take the life of another. This is not only the law of the land, but is enshrined in international conventions and the laws of each and every country in the world. No one should be allowed to use an excuse, be it on grounds of tradition or religion or anything else, to justify committing violence or engaging in criminal conduct on this pretext. Such actions can never be condoned or defended because to do so directly or indirectly encourages lawlessness. Such individuals should be made an example of according to law so that no one can instil fear in the hearts, minds and lives of the ordinary people and indeed the children of the country. Countless women and girls are being subjected daily to cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment and even physical and mental torture by men in the Pakistani society who attempt to justify such acts on the grounds of rural/tribal tradition or religion. The female population of Pakistan represents just over 50% of the country’s total population, yet so many of them continue to be victims of oppression and cruelty in their daily lives with no redress and no one to turn to for help. The state institutions and authorities and even the courts side with men when it comes to such complaints, thus diluting or brushing aside the real problem of discrimination, oppression and persecution of women. Even the laws of the land are discriminatory to women in many respects. An example of such discrimination is that the father of a child has more rights compared to the mother. Women are discouraged to participate in sport and are unsafe travelling on their own. Their participation in social life of the country is very limited, segregated or dependant on the dominant male figure in the household. A widespread abuse of women inside police stations, households, at work and generally in rural Pakistan goes unnoticed or the perpetrators are protected by the authorities, thus discouraging the victims into suffering in silence and accepting their fate. Honour killings, Karo Kari, Vanni and abuse of blasphemy laws cannot and should not be tolerated in any society in the 21st century. What use is the National Peace Award to Malala when the Pakistani authorities are unable to provide any protection to her. More importantly, corruption, hypocrisy and lack of political will seem to be mainly responsible for such extensive and horrific abuses of human rights in Pakistan. There should be no compromise and zero tolerance to acts of violence whether in connection with promoting or opposing an ideology. No society can claim to be civilised where words are matched with physical violence, yet the state authorities remain silent. That is perhaps because the state institutions responsible for law and order have miserably failed its citizens to such an extent that they have become dysfunctional and totally insensitive to the security needs, safety and protecting the life and liberties of its own citizens. How many wake-up calls, how many Malalas, Rimsha Masihs, Mukhtara Mais, Salman Taseers, etc. do we still need to fall victim to these extremist criminals before we wise up to the situation and act decisively. The media has to play its part too in exposing this evil criminal mind set which is determined to destroy all human values we so much cherish. Politicians, lawyers, scholars, human rights and civil society activists, students, workers, i.e. people from all walks of life who care about human values and human dignity will have to stand up, be counted, unite and fight to save their own society from international isolation and disintegration. Sooner or later constitutional reform will also be required. Let there be no doubt also that any political leadership which seeks to directly or indirectly side with such an evil mind set will itself eventually fall victim to them. I was in islamabad last week then i needed to visit Wah.My eyes were searching a vehicle for a rent outside PIMS when i saw a slim n short guy standing next to a yellow cab, His age was round about 24.
His eyes were focussed at some random point, must be in deep thoughts.I went closer n said
"Dost Wah Cantt chalo gay ????"

Taxi Driver:- Jee sir.

Me:- Kitny paisy lo gy ?

Driver:- 1200 rupy.
I threw my bag at back seat n sit besides him n we started for Wah Cantt.

Me:- Kea naam hai tmhara dost ?

Driver:- "Dilfaraz Khan"

Me:- Dilfaraz Khan...!!!! Waah yaar bara accha naam hy, Kab sy taxi chala rahy ho ?

Driver:- Pichly 8 saal sy.

Me:- Ahan kaisa kaam jaa raha hy ?

Driver:- Bas Bhai mat poocho, pichly 2 din sy na he ghar kuch ly kr gaya houn or na he maalik ko kuch dea hy, bas CNG poore ke hay. sawari nhe hy, sawari hy toh unky paas paisy nahi haen.
Musharraf ka dour theek tha bhai, logon ky paas paisa tha toh hamari 2 waqt ke roti chal jaate the.

Me:- yeh taxi tmhari apni nhe hy ?

Driver:- Nahi Bhai, malik kee hy.

Driver:- Nahi Bhai, esi baat ka toh rona hy. etny paisy nhe thy k parhae krta or hakoomat ny kabhi sar par haath nhe rakha parhae ky mamly main, es liye bas.....

Driver:- kuch dair sochny ky baad...Bhai woh kea naam hy uska "Hanif Nawabi"

n then i understood that he does'nt even know the name of the person he voted for.

Me:- woh "Hanif Nawabi" nhe "Hanif Abbasi" hoga.

Driver:- Haan haan bhai wohee.

Me:- Woh peoples party ka hy na ?

Driver:- Jee bhai zardari ky sath hy...n here we go again, he does'nt know the platform of his leader too.

Me:- ghar ma kitny log haen ?

Driver:- mujh samait 9 log haen bhai.

Me:- sab ny usay he vote dea tha ?

Driver:- Jee bhai

Me:- Sab ghar waaly aik he trah sochty haen ?

Driver:- Bhai ham koe parhy likhy toh haen nahe k hamari koe apni soch hogi, election sy pehly hamary elaaqy ka bara aata hy woh ham sab ko btata hy k kis ko vote dena hy, badly main woh hamain us din khana or kuch paisy deta hy...

He turned back his cab n i entered the house, fell into bed but i knew for sure now, why this sick government kept just 4 billion for the education while more than 7 billion for the president house, 80 billion for Bay Nazir Income Support Programme.

PMLN is also silent at this issue, why they should'nt be ???

This is how they collect their votes by keeping the nation illiterate, Spent 22billion for laptops to cover up their personal interests while children are studying in the graveyards.
They should build new schools, appoint new teachers, deliever free books in all government schools so everyone can continue his/her studies.
These both sick parties never wanted to increase the literacy rate because they never wanted to let the common man know the importance of his vote.This is where their unimagineable rotten politics stands.
